American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level II Trauma Center requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and certifications including TNCC.

Work in the Emergency Department of a 426-bed short-term acute care hospital, part of the Yale New Haven Health System
-
Combined adult and pediatric ED patient population
-
Level II Trauma Center
-
4x12-hour night shifts (1900–0730)
-
Every other weekend required
-
Floating may be required as needed
-
Epic EMR used
-
Active CT or Compact RN license required
-
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
-
Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required
-
Experience in a combined adult/pediatric general emergency department required
-
Experience with dysrhythmia management required
-
IV therapy and phlebotomy skills required, including starting/maintaining IVs and central line care/management
-
Experience with IV vasopressors required
-
Respiratory skills required: CPAP/BiPAP and ventilated patient management
-
Experience with isolation precautions and triage required
-
Candidates must not have any prior disciplinary actions on their nursing license

1 professional reference required for consideration

Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
