Hearth Installer
Job Overview
We are looking for a responsible motivated person to join our company. You will be responsible for prepping for the day’s work and traveling to homes and performing installation or maintenance tasks throughout the day. You will also be asked to assist in everyday duties to help our company operate successfully. We work a Tuesday through Saturday schedule year round. The ideal candidate would be a long-term career individual looking to learn and grow with us. Hearth experience beneficial but not required. Carpenters or construction people looking to learn a new career should apply.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Install diagnosis and repair chimney’s, wood pellet and gas fireplaces and stoves.
- Sweep Chimneys and stove cleanings.
- Have the ability to safely work on ladders and roofs
- Lifting and physical labor
- Assist in spa installations.
- Drive and maintain a company vehicle while at work
- Valid driver’s license with clear history
- Good communication skills able to communicate clearly with customers and staff
- Ability to work overtime during the fall season
- Some carpentry and mechanical skills
