The Retail Agent is the face of House Premium Cannabis and plays a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, compliance, product knowledge, and operational excellence. Retail Agents are trusted cannabis advisors who educate customers, confidently navigate products, and build long-term relationships through personalized recommendations and outstanding service.
Core Responsibilities:
· Deliver an exceptional, welcoming, and personalized experience for every customer.
· Serve as a knowledgeable cannabis advisor by educating customers on flower, pre-rolls, vaporizers, concentrates, edibles, beverages, tinctures, topicals, and accessories.
· Understand cannabinoids, terpenes, potency, dosing, onset times, and consumption methods to confidently guide purchasing decisions.
· Ask thoughtful questions to identify customer goals and recommend products that best fit their desired experience while remaining compliant with Massachusetts regulations.
· Accurately verify identification, process transactions, and follow all cash-handling procedures.
· Maintain current knowledge of new products, vendor trainings, promotions, and industry trends.
· Process customer orders, restock inventory, merchandise displays, maintain cleanliness, and support inventory operations.
· Protect compliance by following all SOPs and Cannabis Control Commission regulations.

Qualifications:
· Retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
· Cannabis industry experience preferred; willingness to learn required.
· Strong communication, professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Physical Requirements:
· Stand and walk for extended periods.
· Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
· Frequently bend, reach, squat, and perform repetitive movements.
· Work evenings, weekends, holidays, and other business-critical shifts as needed.
