Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver (Independent Contractor) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a car, minivan, sedans or similar vehicle for deliveries and pickups.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage.
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients and recipients.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues encountered during transport.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as necessary for loading and unloading tasks.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely.
- Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
- Knowledge of route driving techniques to optimize delivery efficiency.
- Forklift certification is desirable but not mandatory; training may be provided.

Pay: $900.00 - $1,200.00 per week
