About the Role
As a Metal Fabrication Specialist, you will play a vital role in constructing high-integrity structural steel components. By leveraging your expertise in blueprint interpretation and precision welding, you will ensure that every assembly meets rigorous structural standards and contributes to the reliability of critical infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities-
Execute high-quality full penetration welds on complex structural channels and poles.

Interpret technical schematics and blueprints to accurately lay out and align metal subassemblies.

Utilize precision measurement tools to ensure components are positioned within strict tolerances.

Operate grinding equipment and various power tools to prepare surfaces and finish joints.

Conduct thorough self-inspections of welds to maintain a high pass rate for ultrasonic testing.

Document production progress and quality inspection results to ensure project traceability.

Adhere to all safety protocols to foster a secure and efficient fabrication environment.
Qualifications-
3-5 years of professional welding experience or equivalent technical training.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and fabrication layouts.

Demonstrated ability to perform precision welding with high attention to detail.

Strong commitment to safety standards and consistent attendance.

Hands-on experience with Flux-Cored, Metal-Cored, and Shielded Metal Arc welding processes.

Prior background in the manufacturing of transmission poles or heavy structural steel.

Proven track record of maintaining high quality standards in ultrasonic (UT) inspections.
