As a Host/To-go Specialist at East Coast Wings + Grill, you will be essential in ensuring our guests receive their orders accurately and promptly. This role is vital to our mission of delivering outstanding service and delicious food while enhancing the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, taking accurate orders for to-go meals.
- Ensure all to-go orders are prepared correctly and packaged for delivery.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders during peak hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the to-go area to enhance operational efficiency.
- Utilize TOAST POS system for order entry and payment processing as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Promote menu items and special offers to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Stocks carryout area and package orders.
- Must be available to work morning and closing shifts during the week and weekends.
- Must have weekend availability, including Sunday.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- High Diploma or GED
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective interaction with guests.
- Familiarity with TOAST POS system or similar point-of-sale technology is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
