Big Chief Tire Co. is a family owned and operated tire company that has been providing quality automotive service to the Jacksonville, Florida area since 1961. The staff at Big Chief is loyal, with an average tenure of 5+ years. We are currently looking to add a few Tire and Lube Technicians to the family.
As a Tire and Lube Technician, your responsibilities would include:
- Mount/ Dismount tires
- Balance tires
- Repair tires
- Rotate tires
- Lube, oil and filter change
- Fluid Exchanges
- Alignments
BASE Pay:
- We start our General Service Technicians at $17.
- We are scheduled around 45 Hours per week (M-F)
- Bonuses Monthly (up to $200)
Schedule:
- Mon-Friday 7:20-5:30- 45ish hours total with 5ish OT hours weekly.
- Sat/Sunday - CLOSED
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs often and repeatedly and up to about 75+lbs
- Tire or Oil Change Experience
- Willingness to learn different skills and cross train other areas(Required)
- Dependability (Required)
- Fluid Exchange experience- Brake Fluid and Coolant Flush (Preferred)
- Alignment experience (Preferred)
