We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience driving 53 FT Flatbeds and will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently. Must have a minimum of 5 years Experience. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle loading and unloading tasks.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, and in compliance with all traffic regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailer, refrigerated trailer, flatbed, or tanker vehicles.
- Strong understanding of delivery routes and logistics.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
