The Hockomock Area YMCA’s School Age Department is seeking enthusiastic and dependable Group Leaders for our Franklin Branch . Group Leaders play a key role in supervising students, supporting daily routines, and creating a safe and welcoming space where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Essential Functions
Support the development and delivery of curriculum and group activities.
Actively participate in all parts of the daily schedule, including:
Snack, lunch preparation, and cleanup
Activity facilitation
Program space setup and cleanup
Supervise and engage with youth to ensure a safe, fun, and inclusive environment.
Follow all YMCA health and safety procedures and EEC licensing regulations.
Report any concerns or issues promptly to the Site Director.
Use positive redirection and guidance techniques to support children’s social-emotional development.
Maintain a professional and supportive demeanor with children, families, and team members.
Keep assigned areas clean, organized, and inviting.
