Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol
As a Security Officer Driver Entry Desk in Sugar Grove, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional, welcoming experience for employees and visitors. This is a driving post. You will perform routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver service with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document access activity to help support security-related operations.

Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols around production, warehouse, shipping, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or unauthorized access.

Support vehicle and delivery access procedures by checking incoming and outgoing traffic, maintaining required logs, and reporting security-related concerns according to site guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
