Metal Finishing Group is seeking an experienced Metal Plater to join our skilled team. This role is crucial for applying high-quality chrome finishes to a variety of metal components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare metal surfaces for plating, including cleaning and prep.
- Set up, operate, and maintain chrome plating equipment and chemical solutions.
- Apply chrome plating according to precise specifications and ensure proper thickness and adhesion.
- Conduct quality control inspections and troubleshoot plating issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations, including proper chemical handling.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in metal chrome plating (decorative and/or hard chrome) REQUIRED
- Strong understanding of electroplating principles, bath chemistry, and equipment.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools for quality checks.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Knowledge of safety procedures for handling hazardous materials.
- Ability to work effectively in a production environment.
