JOB OVERVIEW
This role is responsible for participating in projects and analyses that produce actionable recommendations that build relevant insights for internal and external stakeholders. This role collects data and runs basic reports in response to client inquiries. The individual coordinates closely with key internal stakeholders to ensure sound knowledge of client requirements to support development of best-in-class analytical solutions. They will accurately enter required data into one or more databases, documents, and/or spreadsheets. The Project Analyst will help design and develop the project schedule for deploying IT solutions, and will assist in organizing, implementing, and maintaining scheduling management systems that support identified information technology projects and their plans. Additionally, this role performs analysis and provides support to the IT Project Manager by preparing reports to ensure that IT projects and contracts remain within negotiated parameters and government cost-control guidelines. The Project Analyst will enter project procurement requests into systems and tracks their progress.
Essential Functions

Coordinates and supports enterprise-level IT projects through complete project lifecycles.

Serves as a liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership to facilitate effective project status communication.

Assists will project planning activities including scheduling, documentation, risk tracking, meeting coordination, and status reporting.

Helps develop and maintain project documentation to include project plans, meeting minutes, action item trackers, executive summaries, and whitepapers.

Monitor project progress and assist the project manager with identifying issues, risks, and dependencies.

Prepare and present project updates, metrics, and reports to stakeholders using various software tools (internal applications, JIRA, PowerPoint, Project, etc).

Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Maintain organized records and project documents of project activities and milestones.
-
Demonstrate strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills while discussing complex topics across technical and non-technical teams.
Required:

Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph

At least four (4) years of prior experience supporting complex projects.
-
Ability to create, customize, prepare, and maintain project budget documents.
-
Fluent in maintaining and updating project websites, graphical elements, internal applications, and other project automation tools.

Proficient in tools like Excel, PowerApps, data visualization software (PowerBI, etc), and project management software (MS Project, JIRA, etc).

Demonstrated project planning experience by assisting with the creation, maintenance, and automation of project plans, schedules, and timelines, and by assisting the project managers to gather requirements and support and define project objectives.

Ability to assist with identifying potential project risks and helping to develop strategies to mitigate them to include conducting risk assessments and maintaining a risk register.

Experience monitoring project progress against milestones and deliverables.

Strong competencies in maintaining and automating project documentation, meeting minutes, action items, and project decisions.

Skilled in generating reports and presentations to project stakeholders to effectively communicate project status and outcomes.

Competent in developing and adhering to project quality control metrics to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align with project requirements.

Capable of assisting with managing changes to project scope, schedule, and budget to include evaluating change requests and assessing overall project impact.

Proven ability to effectively communicate between stakeholders, project teams, and leadership to include managing concerns as they arise.

Experience in participating in full project lifecycle reviews including lessons learned activities to be used on future projects.
Preferred:

Top Secret Clearance with a CI Polygraph.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience dealing with enterprise IT projects or other technical and wide-reaching projects.

Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD.
