Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machinery according to production specifications and work orders.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and production instructions.
- Load materials and properly position parts for machining.
- Monitor CNC equipment during operation to ensure parts are produced accurately and efficiently.
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product dimensions and quality.
- Inspect finished components for defects and ensure they meet required specifications and tolerances.
- Make basic machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality and production standards.
- Identify and report equipment, tooling, or quality issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform additional production duties as assigned by management.
What You'll Bring
- Previous CNC machine operation experience required.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, measurements, and production specifications.
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical requirements of a manufacturing position.
- Flexibility to work overtime when required.
