Job Description:
We are seeking
experienced Diesel Mechanics with hands-on experience servicing fuel tanker trucks and heavy-duty commercial fleet equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic and repair skills, with proven experience working on diesel-powered trucks, tanker systems, hydraulic components, air brake systems, and electrical systems. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and performance of our fleet.
Shop Locations: Upland, Ca 91786 or Gardena, Ca 90248
Multiple positions available at both locations
Shifts Available:
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Swing Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Graveyard Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Additional Requirements:
- Rotating weekend on-call schedule
- Overtime as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines and heavy-duty fleet vehicles
- Perform computerized diagnostics and identify mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and driveline issues
- Complete preventative maintenance services and DOT/BIT inspections
- Service and repair fuel tanker systems, including pumps, valves, product lines, and emergency shut-off systems
- Repair and maintain hydraulic, air brake, suspension, steering, and electrical systems
- Perform clutch replacements, transmission repairs, and minor to major engine overhauls
- Conduct welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications as needed
- Ensure all vehicles and equipment meet DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inspection documentation
- Work independently while meeting production goals and safety requirements
Final pay within the listed range will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Job Requirements:
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 2+ years diesel mechanic experience Direct experience working on fuel tanker trucks or heavy-duty commercial fleet equipment (required)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with hydraulic and air brake systems
- Knowledge of electrical and suspension systems
- BIT/DOT inspection and Air Brake certification
- ASE certification or equivalent (preferred)
- Own set of professional tools
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Pre-employment drug & alcohol screening required
Wage Range: 38.00 - 40.00 per hour
