Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience
- Demonstrate product features and benefits through engaging product demos
- Assist customers with selecting sunglasses that suit their style and needs
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash handling duties accurately, including cashiering and balancing registers
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring product availability
- Conduct stock replenishment and inventory management to keep the sales floor organized
- Upsell additional products or accessories to maximize sales opportunities
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone inquiries
- Support team members with supervising experience when needed to ensure smooth store operations
- Ensure compliance with store policies and safety procedures at all times
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in jewelry or grocery store environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse customers
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist a broader customer base
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math calculations
- Experience with POS systems and cashiering procedures required
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products effectively
- Knowledge of merchandising, stock management, and product demos is advantageous
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills essential for building rapport with shoppers
- Supervising experience is desirable for leadership opportunities within the team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
