Full-time Perioperative Registered Nurse needed in Newton, KS to deliver comprehensive perioperative care in a fast‑paced surgical setting. The role supports patient safety and quality from pre‑operative through post‑operative stages.
Provide pre‑operative, intra‑operative, and post‑operative care to surgical patients
Prepare operating rooms and assist surgical teams with instruments and supplies
Monitor patients’ vital signs and responses during procedures
Ensure strict adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery processes
Maintain accurate documentation in patient medical records
Active RN license in Kansas
Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
