Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Podiatrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating conditions related to the foot, ankle, and lower extremities. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The Podiatrist will play a crucial role in improving patients' quality of life through effective treatment plans and preventive care.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' foot and ankle conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary for various podiatric conditions.
- Provide education on foot care, preventive measures, and rehabilitation.
- Manage many diabetic-related foot conditions.
Experience
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active state license without restriction.
- Experience with geriatric population/ in long term care settings is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with patients and staff.
