Valley Linen provides laundry service with pick up and delivery for various local businesses including restaurants, hotels, retail establishments and offices. Our products include sheets, towels, napkins, table linen, uniforms, floor mats, and mops.
We're looking for a Production Assistant to work with clean laundry, preparing it for delivery to our customers. The job tasks include sorting and folding various types of linen, wrapping linen for delivery, as well as hanging uniforms. We use an automated ironer and folder for some items which requires quick and efficient loading.
Physical requirements: must be able to stand for extended periods. Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, with lifting up to 20 lbs. Must be able to work in a fast paced, warm environment during summer months.
The anticipated schedule is 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. Hours may vary due to business demands.
Starting pay is $18 per hour with the opportunity to earn up to $19 per hour with performance based bonuses each pay period when training is completed.
