Role and Essential Functions:
- This position is responsible for setting up and keeping our looms in working order to ensure we meet our customer’s needs. Minimal overnight travel needed for training purposes.

- Act as a resource for assistance and knowledge related to job duties
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- The Loom Technician should have experience in:
- Dornier Rapier AT weaving machine set- up and style change.
- The ability to diagnose and repair major breakdown issues including harness drives and electromechanical clutch/brake system.
- Experience with dobby weaving operation with multiple weft insertions.
- Knowledge of fabric design and formation including the calculation of reed and warp constructions.
- The ability to read mechanical drawings of machine parts and all related gauges and machine specific tools and accessories.
- Experience with Dornier Dialog panel II software installation, machine configuration, pattern designs.
The Loom Technician should have a strong sense of urgency to complete style changes and other tasks in a safe and efficient manner while working in a team environment with weavers and other support staff.
