The Repair Technician at Asurety plays a critical hands-on role in assessing properties and completing necessary repairs to ensure safe, functional dryer vent and fireplace systems in multifamily settings. Key responsibilities include replacing 4" dryer vent ducts, installing or replacing vent caps, repairing brick panels and other fireplace components, accessing rooftops for terminations and inspections, cutting sheetrock where required for access or repairs, and maintaining a neat, clean workspace while working in occupied properties.
This position demands practical construction and remodeling knowledge, mechanical aptitude, comfort working at heights and in confined spaces, proficiency with hand/power tools, and a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and professionalism.

Schedule 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM day shifts, 40 hours per week (consistent schedule).
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- Hands-on construction or remodeling experience — Background in residential construction, remodeling, drywall, framing, or general trades work, with the ability to work effectively inside existing structures in multifamily and single-family properties.
- Mechanical aptitude, tool proficiency, and physical capability — Strong mechanical mindset with proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment; physically able to work in attics, crawl spaces, and on roofs/ladders while safely lifting up to 50 lbs and maintaining high standards for safety and workmanship.
- Able to safely carry and use a 32' ladder (not afraid of heights)
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation required to travel to and from the company vehicle pickup location daily.
- Verifiable references showing long tenure and leadership.
- Proven ability to drive a team to meet production goals with urgency while delivering excellent work.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Dryer vent duct installation and repair expertise — Proven experience installing, repairing, rerouting, and modifying 4-inch dryer vent ductwork, including proper support, sealing, routing, and termination for safe, code-compliant performance.
- Dryer vent cap replacement and ventilation skills — Skilled at inspecting, removing, and installing dryer vent caps and related components while identifying and correcting issues that affect airflow or create fire hazards.
- Fireplace repair experience — Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair fireplaces, including work on venting, components, and related systems to restore safe and functional operation.
