Job Overview
We are seeking either someone who wants to become a leader or someone who has advanced skills and/or experience and wants to grow with a local family owned company. to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong understanding of surface preparation and finishing. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Painter will be responsible for delivering high-quality work while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Loading in and loading out of jobs
- Delegating tasks to other crew members
- Picking up slack and minor training of unexperienced painters
- More advanced painting skills such as cutting and other advanced techniques
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed.
- Rolling walls and learning the process we employ.
- Caulking to ensure clean lines, filling and sanding nail holes
- Tarping and Taping
- Moving ladders
- Any extra prep work.
- Prepping setups
- Clean up/Organization of job sites
Skills
- All Basic skills mastered, such as: taping, filling, caulking, patching, tarping, rolling, and minor cutting.
- Drywall skills and carpentry skills a plus
- For crew leads we require some independent thinking
- Ability to fill out paperwork and follow a labor budget

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
