Manufacturing Digitalization Coordinator
Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing Digitalization Coordinator
to support the company’s manufacturing digitalization and operational excellence
initiatives. This role will be responsible for coordinating operational data across the entire
manufacturing process while driving cross-functional projects to successful execution.
The successful candidate will work closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing,
Inventory, Logistics, Engineering, Quality, and Management to improve data visibility,
standardize reporting, and ensure operational initiatives are implemented effectively. This
position requires someone who can not only analyze information but also follow through,
coordinate stakeholders, and drive action to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Data Management
- Maintain and continuously improve operational data covering the complete manufacturing workflow, including Customer Orders, Planning, Purchasing, Inventory, Production, Logistics, Shipping, and Delivery.
- Consolidate data from multiple systems into standardized reports and management dashboards.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely updates across operational functions.
- Develop recurring daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports for management.
Digital Operations Support
- Support the company’s manufacturing digitalization initiatives by improving data collection, reporting, and workflow visibility.
- Coordinate with system users to identify reporting requirements and recommend process improvements.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining digital tools, dashboards, and operational tracking systems.
- Help standardize data management processes and reporting procedures across departments.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as the primary coordinator between Production, Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, and other operational teams.
- Work closely with planners and production supervisors to monitor production schedules, material availability, inventory status, and shipment progress. Ensure timely communication between departments to resolve operational issues and maintain workflow continuity.
- Coordinate operational meetings, document action items, and communicate project updates to stakeholders.
Project Execution & Follow-up
- Drive cross-functional operational and digitalization projects from planning through implementation.
- Track project timelines, follow up on assigned action items, and ensure deliverables are completed as scheduled.
- Identify bottlenecks, coordinate solutions with responsible departments, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Support management in monitoring project progress and ensuring continuous execution of improvement initiatives.
Continuous Improvement
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Recommend improvements to manufacturing processes, reporting methods, and operational workflows.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives through data- driven analysis.
- Assist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to operational reporting and digital processes.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations coordination, production planning, supply chain, or data analysis.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and production processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and advanced formulas.
- Experience with ERP systems and operational reporting.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments.
- Self-motivated with strong follow-up skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other business intelligence tools.
- Familiarity with manufacturing systems such as ERP, MES, WMS, or CMMS.
- Experience supporting digital transformation or process improvement projects.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Success Measures
Within the first 6–12 months, this role is expected to:
- Establish reliable operational reporting across customer orders, purchasing, inventory, production, logistics, and shipping.
- Improve visibility of key manufacturing KPIs through standardized dashboards.
- Successfully coordinate and drive assigned operational and digitalization initiatives to completion.
- Improve communication and information flow across manufacturing departments.
- Support management with timely, accurate, and actionable operational reporting.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
