Chinese Immersion Preschool Instructor (Bilingual: English & Mandarin) – Part-Time
Enlightened Learning Club (ELC) is seeking a caring, energetic, and creative Chinese Immersion Preschool Instructor to join our weekend team.
Our Preschool Chinese Immersion Program is designed for children ages 4–6 who are beginning their Mandarin learning journey. Through songs, stories, games, arts & crafts, and hands-on activities, we create a fun, immersive environment where children naturally develop an interest in the Chinese language and culture.

Job Responsibilities
As a Chinese Immersion Preschool Instructor, you will:
- Lead engaging Mandarin Chinese enrichment classes for children ages 4–6.
- Create an immersive Mandarin-speaking environment by using Chinese as much as possible during class while providing English support when needed.
- Plan and lead circle time, songs, storytelling, games, arts & crafts, movement activities, and other age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Foster children's interest in Mandarin through play-based and interactive learning.
- Encourage positive social skills, classroom routines, and independence.
- Maintain a safe, organized, positive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Supervise and manage a small group of preschool-aged children.
- Prepare simple lesson materials, classroom resources, and activity supplies.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding student participation and classroom updates.
- Collaborate with the ELC team to deliver a high-quality educational experience.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate is:
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
- Passionate about working with preschool-aged children.
- Patient, caring, energetic, creative, and nurturing.
- Comfortable leading group activities and keeping young children engaged.
- Able to create a warm, fun, and structured learning environment.
- Organized, dependable, punctual, and professional.
- A positive team player with excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Major or coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Chinese Language, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with preschool or elementary-aged children.
- Experience teaching in a preschool, daycare, Chinese school, enrichment program, or Chinese immersion program.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- TB clearance is a plus or willingness to obtain upon hire.
Training, curriculum, and teaching resources will be provided for qualified candidates.
Schedule
Part-Time
Every Saturday
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Applicants should be available for a minimum commitment from August through December.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to actively participate in classroom activities with preschool-aged children.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the classroom.
- Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 25 pounds.
Employment Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must successfully pass a background check prior to employment.
- Must be able to work in person at our Rancho Cucamonga location.
