G&S Foods is a central PA based snack food company operating in Hanover, PA. We are a co-manufacturer of sweet and salty snacks from popcorn to chocolate-covered pretzels. Our High Reach Forklift Operators are responsible for
- Using sit-down and high reach forklifts to move finished product from the production floor
- Supplying production with raw materials
- Load, unload, inspect and document loads
- Ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Utilize DEACOM (ERP system) to accurately verify, track all incoming, in process and outgoing material moves.
Required Experience, Skills and Abilities:
- Proven experience as sit-down forklift operator and high reach forklift operator in a warehouse or manufacturing environment required
- RF scanning experience required
- ERP software experience required
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use of hands and fingers to handle or feel and reach
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds
- Infrequently lift and / or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds
- Specific vision abilities required of this job include close vision, distance vision and peripheral vision.
- Must be able to work in varied temperatures
Shift Times:
- 3rd Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 11:00pm-7:00am
