Job Overview
Join our team as a Regional Truck Driver servicing the oilfield in East Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. We have bulk pneumatic tankers, along with 53' dry van loads. Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are not required. You will be home most nights and we have 24 and 25 model tractors.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a range of trucks including manual transmission tractors
- Load and unload freight efficiently hooking up hoses and operating the pneumatic trailers
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance in accordance with federal and state laws
- Plan optimal routes to maximize efficiency while adhering to delivery schedules and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers
- Follow all safety protocols related to driving, cargo handling, and vehicle operation to prevent accidents or damages
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a commercial truck driver with a focus on route driving and freight delivery
- Valid commercial driver’s license class A (CDL)
- Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of load securing procedures and freight handling best practices
- Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
Pay: From $1,600.00 per week
