Part-Time Access Control & CCTV Technician (Lenel Certified) – Warner Robins AFB

We are seeking a Lenel Certified Access Control & CCTV Technician to provide on-site support for a government security system consisting of approximately 60 devices, including access control equipment, cameras, and associated infrastructure.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced technician looking for flexible, part-time work with predictable quarterly maintenance visits and additional service calls as needed.
Position Overview
The selected technician will serve as our local on-site resource at Warner Robins AFB, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and support activities for an enterprise security system. Work will primarily consist of scheduled quarterly PMIs (Preventive Maintenance Inspections) and occasional on-demand service requests.
Responsibilities
- Perform quarterly preventive maintenance inspections (PMIs) on access control and CCTV systems.
- Inspect, test, and document the operation of approximately 60 security devices.
- Troubleshoot and repair access control hardware, door devices, card readers, locks, cameras, and associated equipment.
- Support system diagnostics and corrective maintenance activities.
- Provide detailed service reports and documentation after each visit.
- Coordinate with remote engineering and project management teams.
- Maintain compliance with customer security requirements and site procedures.
- Identify potential system issues and recommend corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
- Current Lenel Certification (Required)
- Experience supporting Lenel OnGuard systems.
- Experience with Access Control Systems (ACS) and CCTV/Video Surveillance Systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Professional communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required base access credentials.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting government, military, or critical infrastructure facilities.
- Additional certifications in security systems, networking, or low-voltage systems.
- Experience with IP cameras, network switches, and video management systems.
Work Schedule
- Part-Time
- Quarterly scheduled PMIs for one facility.
- Additional service calls scheduled as needed.
- Flexible scheduling coordinated in advance whenever possible.
