Market Business Analyst
Location: Newnan, GA
Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday
About the Role
We are seeking a Market Business Analyst to help transform market data, customer trends, and business performance metrics into actionable insights. This role partners closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Marketing to support forecasting, pricing, reporting, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze market trends, customer demand, and industry data to support business decisions.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and business insights for leadership teams.
- Support pricing projects, pricing tools, and change management initiatives.
- Ensure data accuracy across reporting, pricing, and analytics systems.
- Assist with short- and long-term demand forecasting and scenario analysis.
- Monitor commodity trends, industry indicators, and market activity.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, dashboards, and automation.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to support commercial and operational strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Market Analysis, Financial Analysis, Supply Chain Analysis, or a related analytical role.
- Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar reporting tools.
- Experience working with ERP systems and business reporting tools.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to stakeholders and leadership.
- Ability to manage recurring reporting cycles while handling ad hoc requests.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, metals, industrial products, or supply chain environments.
- Experience supporting pricing strategy, forecasting, or demand planning.
- Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar ERP systems.
