What your day will be:
Our Assistant Supervisors work in a 24/7 environment ensuring our employees have a safe and welcoming work experience as they provide operational excellence for our airline customers according to stringent Transportation Security Administration requirements. They provide direction to our teams and work with the remaining leadership team to engage with customers, vendors, TSA and others. Our team proudly delivers excellence in protection and service.
What you bring:
- Responsible for ensuring that areas of responsibility are adequately organized and staffed
- Ensure all delivery times are accurately met
- Working knowledge of OSHA, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), FDA, USDA and EPA regulations
- Monitor and ensure compliance of all safety regulations
- Guide, motivate and develop subordinate employees to ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
- Coordinate with human resources to respond to employee needs, concerns or complaints
- Manage discipline and termination of employees as needed in accordance with company policy
- Excellent, verbal, written and organizational skills combined with an aptitude for multi-tasking
- Attention to detail, analytical and time management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management is preferred.
- 2+years of supervisory and or management experience
- Excellent communications and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
You must be able to:
- Pass a drug test
- Pass a criminal background check
- Be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Read, write, and speak English fluently
- Exposure to hot and cold work environments Fast paced – high volume environment
- Hand dexterity (fastening carrying, repetitive motions, pushing, pulling) moderate lifting, pushing/pulling > 25 - 150 lbs.
- Bending at the waist and knees Frequent sitting and standing
