Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking a variety of Italian dishes as per our menu, following traditional methods and innovative techniques.
- Ensuring the quality of meals by using the freshest ingredients.
- Upholding cleanliness and safety standards in all food preparation areas.
- Adapting to the needs of our kitchen, including preparation, cooking, and presentation of our extensive Italian cuisine.
- Assisting other kitchen staff in maintaining and improving services.
- Providing support to senior chefs for large-scale preparation.
Requirements:
- A love for Italian food and dedication to quality.
- Previous experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift heavy kitchen equipment and ingredients.
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school diploma is a plus.
