Responsibilities
- Lead food preparation and cooking processes to deliver high-quality dishes consistent with menu standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management to foster a motivated team environment.
- Manage inventory control and food production to minimize waste while ensuring ingredient availability for daily operations.
- Oversee food safety protocols, including sanitizing procedures, proper food handling, and adherence to health regulations.
- Plan menus in collaboration with management, incorporating dietary restrictions and catering requirements.
- Coordinate shift management and ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards at all times.
Requirements
- Proven culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining and catering environments.
- Demonstrated supervising experience with team management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, food handling, and kitchen management practices.
- Experience in banquet services, event catering, or large-scale food production is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with inventory management, cost control measures, and food service management systems.
- Ability to lead by example in cooking techniques, food presentation, and customer service standards.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
