Position Overview
We are looking for an energetic Drum Instructor who enjoys working with beginner students and can make lessons both structured and engaging. The ideal candidate can teach rhythm, coordination, and basic drum set skills in a clear and motivating way.
Responsibilities
- Teach drum lessons with a focus on beginner and early-intermediate students
- Introduce rhythm training, basic technique, and foundational grooves
- Keep lessons engaging, especially for younger students
- Track student progress and prepare students for performances
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
Qualifications
- Experience teaching drums, especially beginner students, is required
- Strong sense of rhythm and ability to teach foundational skills clearly
- Experience working with children preferred
- Ability to teach different styles (pop, rock, basic jazz) is a plus
- Energetic, reliable, and communicative
