About the job
The ideal candidate will prospect and generate new commercial business as well as perform cold-calls in the field to generate new permanent sales. This candidate should be able to support existing clients and have an ability to conduct product demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new restaurant partnerships in emerging and rural markets.
- Travel extensively throughout assigned territories to meet prospective business owners and decision-makers.
- Present and communicate the value of partnership opportunities.
- Negotiate partnership and revenue-sharing agreements with restaurant owners.
- Manage a high-volume, transactional sales cycle and close new business efficiently.
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and utilize available sales tools and resources.
- Build and maintain strong relationships within local markets.
- Execute both inside and outside sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Contribute to overall market expansion and business growth initiatives.
Must-Have
- 2.5+ years of sales experience in a closing role or similar customer-facing sales environment.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable working independently in the field.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Preferred
- 2+ years of successful SMB (Small-Medium Business) sales experience.
- Experience selling to:
- Restaurants
- Food & Beverage businesses
- Hospitality businesses
- Outside sales or territory management experience.
- Experience managing a fast-paced, transactional sales cycle.
