Overview
Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Technician, where your expertise will power essential building systems and ensure optimal comfort and safety. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across residential properties. Your skills will directly impact the efficiency of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration providing reliable service to clients and ensuring building safety standards are met.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units and boilers
- Conduct detailed diagnostics using schematics, electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques to identify system issues swiftly.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems related to HVAC equipment, including wiring issues and electrical component failures.
- Use hand tools, and other mechanical tools to repair or replace faulty components effectively.
- Maintain accurate service records, complete detailed reports on repairs performed, and communicate findings clearly with clients.
- Assist with HVAC system design modifications or upgrades based on client needs or new technological advancements.
- Ensure compliance with EPA regulations for refrigerants (EPA certification required) and other environmental standards.
- Support property maintenance tasks related to mechanical systems to uphold building safety and operational integrity.
Skills
- Proven construction experience with a strong foundation in mechanical systems repair and installation.
- Service technician experience with hands-on work in HVAC/R, electrical diagnostics, and appliance repair.
- Knowledge of HVAC system design principles along with practical experience in HVAC system installation and maintenance.
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing boilers, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Valid driver’s license
- Certifications such as EPA refrigerant handling certification are highly desirable; HAZMAT and LP Tank Setter a plus
- This position will require a lot of traveling depending on location.
Licensing:

Pay negotiated based on experience and licenses held.
