Duties
- Safely operate your cargo van to pick up and deliver packages across designated routes
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using manual techniques or dolly when necessary
- Ensure all shipments are secured properly to prevent damage during transit
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during pickups and drop-offs
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices
Experience
- Prior delivery driver experience with route driving preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and heavy lifting techniques
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
Route & Vehicle Requirements:
- Vehicles must be in very good condition. Accepted vehicles include Cargo Vans or Full-sized Sprinter Vans only
- Vehicles must be white or gray, with no logos, dents, or mismatched paint.
Schedule & Expectations:
- Routes operate 7 days per week (Thanksgiving & Christmas are the only non-working holidays)
- Start time: 10:00 AM (drivers must arrive at least 15 minutes early for loading)
- Routes are up to 10 hours per day, most average less. Most routes average 7.5 to 9 hours depending on drivers’ efficiency.
Route Details:
- Up to 140 miles per rural route, approximately 45-50 packages
- Up to 75 miles per in-town route, approximately 65-75 packages
- Deliveries are no-signature required (drop, take photo, and go)
- Drivers will use the Flash Mile Driver App for loading and delivery photo confirmation
Compensation:
- $250 per day, per local route
- $275 per day, per rural route
- Incentive pay available for achieving 100% route completion
