SUMMARY: This position is responsible for repacking and preparing loads for shipment. Completing inventory transactions to place and remove product at times utilizing a forklift. This position is also responsible for palletizing full loads and preparing reels and boxes for production.

Saturday/Sunday: 7am to 7pm (includes shift differential)
with 2 (8 hour) shifts during week
Other open availability:
Full-time or part-time
10am to 6pm; 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm; and 11:00 pm to 7:00 am
**Must be able and willing to train between 7am and 7pm for 3 to 4 weeks**
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- May assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in merchandise
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
- Open bales, crates and other containers
- Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. May also assist in counting of physical inventory
- Welcome delivery trucks
- Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times
- Box, wrap and pack product in accordance with procedures and standards
- Record all damaged items received
- Prepare packaging for mailing
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; Sweep, dust, mop, and waste removal. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
- Assemble and inspect boxes and reels
- Stack finished goods on pallets and use machines to wrap finished pallets
- Perform required inspections of finished product

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Dependable and Reliable
- Have certification to safely operate a forklift or be able to achieve within 6 months
- Previous Inventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry and computer
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
