Case Resolution Specialist — Join Our Growing Team
At Text Kevin, we help accident victims move forward after difficult moments in their lives. The final stage of a case—resolving liens and getting files to the finish line—is where everything comes together, and it matters. We’re growing and looking for a detail-driven Case Resolution Specialist to join our team in Irvine.
This role focuses on lien resolution and settlement closeout support for personal injury cases. You’ll work closely with attorneys, operations, and accounting to help move cases across the finish line so clients can close this chapter and move on.
If you like follow-up and negotiation, and the satisfaction of getting things fully resolved, this role is a great fit.
What You’ll Do
Most days include provider and subrogation follow-ups, tracking lien statuses, documenting updates, and preparing reduction requests and closeout support.
- Manage assigned lien-resolution matters from “start lien negotiations” through completion—keeping communications, records, and next steps moving forward.
- Communicate professionally and persistently with medical providers, subrogation companies, and insurance representatives to obtain lien documentation and confirm balances.
- Prepare lien reduction request packages and support lien negotiations, ensuring terms and approvals are documented before closeout.
- Assist with settlement breakdown preparation and lien reduction analysis to support accurate closeout readiness (math and documentation must be correct).
- Maintain complete, organized, up-to-date case records in firm systems and save key correspondence and agreements properly.
- Identify issues early (missing balances, duplicate or unrelated charges, missing documentation, coordination issues) and escalate questions or high-risk items promptly for guidance.
- Provide clear status updates and maintain momentum on assigned matters through completion.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent professional experience).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and comfort working with numbers and documentation.
- A professional, calm, and persistent follow-up style.
- Prior law firm experience is a plus, but not required — this role may be a strong fit for a motivated early-career professional who enjoys ownership, organization, and follow-through.
What Success in This Role Looks Like
- Files move steadily toward resolution without last-minute scrambling.
- Documentation is clean, organized, and easy for the team to rely on.
- Numbers and written communications are accurate and professional.
- Issues are identified early and handled thoughtfully.
