Role Description The Pizza Maker role at Nino'S Pizzaria is a full-time, on-site position based in Harrison, NJ. The Pizza Maker prepares and cooks pizzas to order, including dough handling, sauce and topping placement, and oven operation, while following established recipes and food safety standards. Daily tasks include maintaining a clean and organized workstation, assisting with general kitchen prep, and restocking ingredients as needed. The role also involves interacting with guests and team members in a courteous manner, supporting smooth service during busy periods, and collaborating with the kitchen staff to ensure timely, high-quality orders.
Qualifications
- Strong food preparation and cooking skills, with the ability to follow recipes and handle pizza dough and toppings consistently.
- Experience or familiarity with food & beverage operations, including basic food safety and hygiene practices.
- Customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with guests and work effectively within a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and handle occasional evening and weekend shifts.
- Previous experience in a pizzeria or restaurant kitchen is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and follow instructions is essential.
- Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail in both food quality and cleanliness.
Pay: $23.91 - $28.79 per hour
