Job Overview
We are a Construction Company that is seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in Yorba Linda. This position is the first point of contact for visitors, clients, subcontractors, and vendors and plays an important role in supporting the daily operations of our office.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced construction office environment.

Responsibilities
- MUST COME IN ON TIME AS SCHEDULED
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally.
- Screen calls and take accurate messages when necessary.
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Maintain organized filing systems, both electronic and paper.
- Perform data entry and duties to support the office.
- Maintain and manage company calendars, including reminders and deadlines for subcontractor bids, project bid submissions, follow-ups, and other important project-related dates.
- Print, scan, copy, and distribute documents as needed and organize documents in correct folders on the share drive and physical folders.
- Upload project documents and plans to online portals.
- Assist with organizing subcontractor proposals and project files.
- Maintain records of subcontractor licenses, insurance certificates, and W-9 forms.
- Order and maintain office supplies.
- Assist with light office housekeeping and organization.
- Operate and maintain office equipment, including printers and copiers.
- Research supplies or equipment for a project, and jobsite supplies as needed.
- Support all departments with tasks as needed.
- Represent the company in a professional and positive manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of company information.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous receptionist, front desk, customer service experience preferred (willing to train the right person.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills.
- Must be comfortable speaking with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers by phone.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Comfortable learning new software and online platforms, including Zoom and BuildingConnected.
- Ability to research products, materials, vendors, and subcontractor information.
- Construction industry experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds when necessary.
Attendance Requirements
- Must be dependable and punctual.
- Must be able to work scheduled hours consistently without excessive tardiness or absenteeism.
- Must arrive on time and be ready to begin work at the scheduled start time each day.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday
PAY DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.90 - $22.00 per hour
