Licensed Plumber (P-2 or P-1) Job Description:
Superior Skilled Trades is currently seeking a Connecticut Licensed Plumber (P-2 or P-1) with 3–5 years of experience for our South Windsor, CT Operations Group. This opportunity requires a self-motivated individual with strong commercial plumbing, heating, and gas piping experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in commercial environments, excellent mechanical aptitude, and the ability to communicate professionally with clients and team members. Candidates with HVAC piping experience are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform commercial plumbing, heating, and gas piping installation, maintenance, and repairs.
- Troubleshoot plumbing and mechanical systems efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain all required trade licenses and certifications.
- Attend required safety training provided and/or sponsored by the company.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and jobsite requirements.
- Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining a clean and neat appearance.
- Maintain organized work areas and complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Be flexible to work overtime and weekends as required by operational needs.
Qualifications for Licensed Plumber (P-2 or P-1):
- Must hold a current Connecticut P-2 or P-1 Plumbing License.
- 3–5 years of commercial plumbing experience preferred.
- Strong experience with commercial plumbing, heating systems, and gas piping.
- HVAC piping experience is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Additional Requirements for Licensed Plumber (P-2 or P-1):
· Must be eligible to work in the United States
· Must have reliable transportation to the job site
· Pre-employment drug screen and background check are required
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee must be able to walk, stand, use hands to handle tools and materials, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and communicate effectively. The employee must be able to set up and climb ladders and stairways.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move materials weighing 0–50 lbs., occasionally lift and/or move 51–100 lbs., and seldom lift and/or move 101+ lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
