Responsibilities

- Implement physical therapy treatments including manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and other modalities to promote healing and mobility.
- Conduct clinical assessments and document patient progress accurately according to clinical documentation standards.
- Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation within electronic health records (EHR), adhering to confidentiality and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
- Communicate clearly with patients and caregivers to explain treatment procedures, progress, and discharge planning processes.
- Support discharge planning by preparing detailed reports on patient progress for seamless transitions across care settings such as inpatient units, skilled nursing facilities, or home health.
Skills
- Proficiency in physiotherapy techniques including manual therapy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and outpatient care.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and clinical assessment documentation standards.
- Experience with inpatient settings, skilled nursing facilities, home health environments, outpatient clinics, or acute care units is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate medical equipment safely and manage electronic health records (EHR) efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for effective caregiver and client interactions; capable of explaining complex treatment plans clearly.
- Familiarity with discharge planning processes and developing comprehensive care plans for diverse patient populations.
- Prior experience with physical therapy documentation practices aligned with clinical standards is preferred.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
