Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Industrial Sanitation Services Lead to oversee and manage all sanitation and cleaning operations within industrial facilities. This pivotal role involves supervising sanitation staff, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation regulations, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all areas. As the leader of the sanitation team, you will drive efficiency, uphold safety protocols, and deliver exceptional service to meet client expectations. Your leadership will ensure that industrial cleaning processes are executed effectively, fostering a safe and hygienic environment for all stakeholders.
Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of sanitation staff, providing clear direction and support to ensure efficient cleaning operations
- Develop and implement sanitation procedures aligned with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety compliance, and adherence to sanitation protocols
- Coordinate scheduling and workflow to optimize cleaning efficiency across multiple sites or shifts
- Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to maintain operational readiness
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management to address concerns, report issues, and improve service delivery
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial cleaning, custodial services, or related fields with a focus on sanitation management
- Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience in a janitorial or custodial environment
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to industrial cleaning and sanitation practices
- Excellent managerial communication skills to lead teams effectively and liaise with clients professionally
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment, chemicals, and sanitation best practices
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff, manage multiple priorities, and uphold high standards of cleanliness
- Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is a plus but not required
