Job Position: Leasing Consultant
Duties and Responsibilities: Our national multi-family, owner management company seeks an experienced, energetic and enthusiastic Leasing Consultant, with a “Can Do” attitude, to join our team. This community is a Class A, luxury community located in South Austin, and is fast-paced and fun! This diverse role combines sales, customer service, marketing and administrative responsibilities and is eligible for an added income via our Bonus & Commission Structure.
- Serves as first point of contact either on the phone or in person (walk-ins by residents/ potential residents, vendors, etc.)
- Perform a variety of administrative functions (filing, data entry, lease file management)
- Draft leases and prepare for signing
- Leasing apartments and qualifying prospective residents
- Receive service requests from residents
- Work to support the property's marketing, leasing, and resident retention efforts
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent customer service and results-driven with strong communication skills.
- Minimum education of high school diploma or equivalent
- Highly organized with effective multitasking and time management skills.
- Ability to work standard community hours including weekends.
- Consistent achievement of monthly leasing goals.
- Strong team player with positive attitude and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarization with the Blue Moon Software and the TAA Lease.
- Self-starter with high level of motivation are key skills.
Preferred Qualifications: At least one year of work experience as a leasing agent or similar sales position
