Delta Darlings is a curated children's boutique specializing in premium baby essentials, gear, and nursery furniture. We pride ourselves on providing an exceptional shopping experience while helping families confidently choose products they'll use every day.
We carry top brands including Doona, Stokke, Cybex, Maxi-Cosi, Babyletto, and more. No previous baby product experience is required—we provide comprehensive training so you can become an expert in the products we offer.
Position Overview
We're looking for an experienced, customer-focused Retail Store Manager who enjoys leading a team, building relationships with customers, and creating an outstanding shopping experience.
This role is ideal for someone with previous retail management experience who is organized, dependable, and excited to lead a growing retail store.
What You'll Do
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the store
- Open and close the store independently
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience
- Confidently assist customers with premium purchases such as car seats, strollers, nursery furniture, and other baby essentials (training provided)
- Train, coach, and support team members
- Lead by example and set the tone during every shift
- Merchandise the sales floor and create inspiring nursery displays
- Receive and accurately enter inventory with strong attention to detail
- Assist with purchasing, reorders, and inventory management
- Help maintain and update the website
- Process website deposits (Excel experience is a plus)
- Create promotions, signage, and sales events
- Communicate professionally with customers and brand representatives
- Conduct quarterly employee evaluations
- Handle cash and process transactions accurately
Qualifications
Required:
- 18 years or older
- Previous retail management or leadership experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable leading a team and coaching employees
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable learning new products and confidently educating customers
- Ability to open and close the store independently
- Available to work 35–40 hours per week
- Must be available 9:30-6:30
- Must be available at least 2 weekends per month (Up to 3 weekends per month during prime season November and December)
- Must be able to work both opening and closing shifts
Preferred:
- Retail experience
- Cash handling experience
- Basic Excel knowledge

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
