Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of brunch specials and beverages
- Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring efficient processing of food and drink requests
- Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining excellent guest relations and attentiveness to their needs
- Clear tables, bus tables, and assist with basic food handling, sanitation, and food preparation as needed
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately through POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, particularly in fine dining or upscale environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Experience with serving in a nightclub or lively hospitality setting is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy brunch hours
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters guest loyalty
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and bill splitting purposes
- Prior host/hostess experience or bussing background is advantageous but not required
