Job Overview
We are seeking an Experienced Lead Mover with a valid driver’s license to join our dynamic team. This role combines hands-on moving responsibilities with commercial driving duties, requiring a motivated individual capable of leading by example. The ideal candidate will excel in customer service, heavy lifting, and route driving, ensuring efficient and professional relocation services for our clients. Duties
- Lead moving crews in packing, loading, unloading, and organizing household or commercial items with attention to safety and efficiency
- Operate box trucks to and from jobsites
- Load and unload items using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual lifting
- Manage route driving responsibilities to ensure timely deliveries and pickups across daily routes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients and addressing their needs professionally
- Assist in training new team members on proper moving techniques, equipment use, and safety procedures
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or mover with knowledge of route driving logistics
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients during relocations
- Warehouse experience including heavy lifting, moving large items, and equipment operation such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Ability to perform manual labor safely while handling heavy or bulky items
- Excellent organizational skills for load & unload tasks and route management
