Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our bakery team! Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles such as box trucks and cargo vans to transport bakery products to customers.
- Load and unload goods using manual handling techniques, or material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices.
- Follow designated routes efficiently, adhering strictly to traffic regulations.
- Ensure accurate delivery documentation using paper invoices, mobile devices or other digital tools.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients professionally and addressing any delivery questions or concerns.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after deliveries.
- Assist with warehouse operations when needed, including inventory management and moving supplies within the facility.
Experience
- Previous delivery driver experience, especially with bakery or food products, is preferred but not required.
- Warehouse experience involving material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks or manual handling is advantageous.
- Familiarity with commercial truck driving, including manual transmission vehicles, is a plus.
- Knowledge of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and weight handling in the workplace is essential.
- Experience with route driving using mobile devices for navigation and delivery tracking is desirable.
- Ability to adhere to traffic laws and DOT regulations consistently during daily operations.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude and excellent communication abilities.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
