Overview
Assistant Project Manager — Manufactured Housing & Construction Operations
About the Role -
We're looking for a sharp, organized, and adaptable Assistant Project Manager to support our construction and installation operations across multiple mobile home park and manufactured housing accounts throughout Arizona. This is a fast-paced role where no two days look the same — you'll be helping manage active jobs across several properties simultaneously, tracking details in spreadsheets, coordinating with clients and crews, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. This is a great fit for someone who thrives on structure but can adapt quickly when priorities shift, enjoys being the person who keeps information organized, and is comfortable being a primary point of contact with clients over phone, text, and email.
What You'll Do
- Support project managers across multiple active jobsites and accounts (manufactured home installs, site prep, skirting/shed builds, paving/seal coating, permitting, and more)
- Maintain and update project tracking spreadsheets — job status, timelines, completed work, outstanding items
- Communicate professionally and consistently with clients via phone, text, and email , answering questions, and keeping people in the loop
- Help coordinate scheduling and dependencies between trades, vendors, and site crews
- Track permitting, inspections, and compliance documentation across jurisdictions
- Organize and manage large volumes of information (job files, change orders, client correspondence) so it's easy to find and act on
- Assist with drafting client-facing communications, and updates
- Learn our internal systems and processes quickly, and adapt as job requirements and priorities change day to day
What We're Looking For
- Fast learner — able to pick up new systems, terminology, and processes without heavy hand-holding
- Strong spreadsheet skills — comfortable in Google Sheets/Excel, tracking and updating data accurately
- Excellent communicator — confident and professional on the phone, in texts, and in written email; able to represent the company well with clients
- Highly organized — able to manage multiple projects/accounts at once without losing track of details
- Adaptable — comfortable with shifting priorities and a fast-moving work environment
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Prior experience in construction, property management, or manufactured housing is a plus but not required — attitude and adaptability matter more
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with mobile home parks, manufactured housing, or construction project coordination
- Familiarity with permitting/regulatory processes
- Experience with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Gmail)
