Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and manage our cleaning operations across our hospitality or commercial facilities. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and adherence to cleanliness standards
- Conduct regular inspections of all areas to maintain high levels of sanitation, safety, and overall presentation
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations
- Manage scheduling, assign tasks, and monitor team performance to optimize productivity and morale
- Oversee cleaning processes including industrial cleaning, janitorial tasks, laundry services, and sanitation management
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Address guest or client inquiries promptly, providing exceptional customer service while resolving any issues related to cleanliness or facilities
Experience
- Proven experience in custodial work or hospitality cleaning roles with a strong background in commercial or industrial cleaning environments
- Supervising experience leading teams in a fast-paced setting with a focus on team management and leadership skills
- Familiarity with sanitation standards, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management practices
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for effective managerial communication and team supervision
- Experience with laundry operations and janitorial services is preferred
- Previous management or supervisory roles in housekeeping or custodial services are highly desirable
