We are seeking a Lead Teacher to join our team at a daycare center. To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or 90 college credits while currently enrolled in a program for a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field of study approved by the NYC DOH and a minimum of 2 years of experience in childcare or working with children in a classroom setting.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the site's curriculums and themes - Provide individualized instruction to meet the needs of each student - Create a safe and nurturing environment for students to learn and grow - Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure the success of all students- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress
Additional Requirements:
- Additional experience in tutoring or providing instruction is preferred
- Knowledge of child development and interests
