Overview
Inside Purpose is seeking a Driver for our Toledo, Ohio surrounding area school and facility. Our drivers are responsible for ONLY picking up students from home taking them and school and return them home after school. You will NEVER leave your driver seat, the child will be put in the car by parent or teacher. We are very strict when it comes to this process. You will ONLY work with students that will need transportation to and from school ONLY. You will be responsible for building a relationship of safety when transporting.
Skills:
Position: Transportation for school students
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: Varying shift lengths, typically 1-3 hours per day, with guaranteed pay of 4 hours regardless if you do 1 or 2 hours a day. You will be responsible for 2-3 runs each day with different pickup locations, times and drop off times. Keep in mind once you have completed a drop at a school, a new run is when you travel to the next student for pickup. ( ** We are offering a $300.00**) signing bonus when you register complete pay and pass the background and Drug test after 45 days on the job. This FEE of $80.00 will be reimbursed and double of the cost in your 1st check.
Student Age Range: Pre-K to High School
Responsibilities:
Safely transport students to and from school on designated routes. These will be the same students for the entire school year, unless the student moves then you will get a new add to your route.
Ensure the well-being and safety of students during transportation.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving in your car. We will provide mileages as well as the hourly. This means you will be paid once the kids is in the car and transported to school.
Conduct routine safety checks on your car 2012 or newer and maintain cleanliness.
Communicate effectively with students, school staff, and parents/guardians.
Demonstrate punctuality (ON TIME) and reliability in adhering to assigned schedules.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor towards students and passengers.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
NO OVI on driving record
Vehicle must be 2012 or newer. You are required to drive your own car and with hourly pay and mileage
Compliance with pre-employment drug and alcohol testing. (NO MARIJUANA allowed w/ or w/o medical card)
Must pass required background checks and maintain a clean criminal history.
Ability to work well with children of varying ages.
Demonstrate responsible and attentive driving habits.
Flexibility in work hours and scheduling with school times ONLY.
Willingness to commit to the safety and welfare of students.
